I came across a great whitepaper about the use of social media by marketers. You can download the whole report for free. Kudos to Michael A. An authoritative, credible online resource for this information is vital for state governments to provide their populations.
For example: launching your blog at the same time as a whitepaper, or a webinar series at the same time as your new social media feed. If your nonprofit is only just getting started in its content marketing efforts, creating a back log in content that can be back dated, or released all at once is sometimes a good idea.

Write technical descriptions of HRP methods and projects at many levels of detail for academic publications, whitepapers, grant applications, grant reports, and internal documentation. Perform a little bit of GNU/Linux system administration. Automate generation of publications based on data using LaTeX and Sweave.
Or, alternatively, if you have longer content pieces, say a whitepaper or longer video, create a “chop shop&# where you cut it into smaller chunks. If you have a newsletter article, run it on the blog. Think about bundling your content across different channels.
