There’s always great information in the newsletter, but this time around I’m particularly excited because the focus is socialnetworking for non-profits (something that, if you read this blog regularly, you know I’m very passionate about) and the 2011 SocialNetworkingSurvey.
The 2012 Nonprofit SocialNetworking Benchmark Report was released at 12NTC yesterday and it’s already stirring up discussions about how nonprofits are leveraging socialnetworks as part of their fundraising and communications strategy. The second annual Nonprofit SocialNetwork Benchmark Report, a joint project of Common Knowledge, thePort, and NTEN, has hard data and insights on the trends surrounding socialnetworking technology as part of nonprofit organizations' marketing, communications, fundraising, and program services.
NTEN, Common Knowledge and Blackbaud invite you to take part in a nonprofit survey about how nonprofits are using online socialnetworks, and enter your name for a chance to win an Apple iPad. The 2011 NTC saw the release of the latest " Nonprofit SocialNetwork Benchmark Report ". > Download the 2011 Nonprofit SocialNetwork Benchmark Report More than 11,000 nonprofit professionals filled out this year's survey, sponsored by NTEN, Common Knowledge, and Blackbaud, generating a veritable cornucopia of data.
Idealware who surveyed over 500 nonprofit staff members about their Facebook usage and goals may have answers to some of the questions organizations have been seeking. Like other studies have noted, socialnetworks like Facebook are not raising much money. hours per week on the socialnetwork.

Second, the popularity of socialnetworking is steady and continues to spread globally, but messaging apps such as WhatsApp, LINE, and Snapchat are emerging as powerful digital communities. First, online fundraising revenue is growing worldwide and it will continue to increase for years to come.
