" I'm trying to walk the walk and talk the talk of Remixing Content for nonprofits. One thing you'll notice is that the presentation itself is a remix of a remix. I remixed it from an earlier prsentation called Associations 2.0 Mashup or: Why educators should learn to stop worrying and love the remix.
The value of this game is in the reiteration, remixing, and of course sharing. Sometimes I wish that I simply did the same slide show, talk, and workshop again and again and again. These are my powerpoint slides from the Screencasting Session at NTC. If more of us are screencasting, then all I have to do is remix other people's work, provided they've licensed their material using creative commons licensing. I ended up attending "Screencasting: The latest in technology training," lead by Beth Kanter.
I’m the lead for Zoetica where my role is to deliver training, advise on the curriculum and coaching methods, model transparency, and serve as meta network weaver. Next week I'm doing a Webinar for Extension Professionals , a remix of 10 Steps to Association 2.0 which was a remix of Marnie Webb 's Ten Ways Nonprofits Can Change the World. My initial remix thought (wrong) was to look for examples that were related to agriculture, but the extension is so much more. I'm nervous. It's messy.

When I've do social media and nonprofit trainings, the audience consists of staff, board members, or volunteers from nonprofit organizations. It was a little challenging to remix a workshop that would be relevant to these different perspectives and age groups and have people leave the room having learned something.
He welcomed me to the Bay Area and asked if I would be interested in doing some trainings for the local arts community. I think this style is a better match for social media as well as social media training. I do believe that social media as part of your training can enhance learning, help facilitate social learning.
