I’m looking at “counting metrics” here – and I don’t have all the details of the overall results and the rest of their strategy – nor do I have other metrics - for example referral traffic and conversion rates for donations or purchases. The ratio is the total number of repins divided by total pins.
The combination of Sony’s trademark 21:9 aspect ratio with a slightly smaller 6.1-inch Given Sony’s photography ambitions for the 5 II, I’ll allow it the physical shutter control, but the Google Assistant button feels unnecessary — especially in a position that’s too low to be convenient to press.
The desktop connected to the monitor didn’t come close to taking advantage of its 240Hz refresh rate (you’ll need a very capable machine to get the most out of this monitor), but it was still an enjoyable, immersive experience. It retains the same 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time of last year’s model — no quibbles there.
The 16:10 aspect ratio gives you an extra bit of vertical space, in addition to space on the sides. percent screen-to-body ratio, which Dell says is higher than any competitors. The XPS 17 isn’t a gaming laptop (no high refresh-rate screen options, for one) and given that, the gaming results were decent but not mind-blowing.
It has a big screen with a high refresh rate, a tall aspect ratio that might make it easier for people with smaller hands to use, and OnePlus’ light-touch take on Android. Somewhat unusually, the N10 5G offers a very tall 20:9 aspect ratio on its screen. Photography by Allison Johnson. Not a bad deal at all.
There’s a new “game bar” with quick access to settings like refresh rate, aspect ratio, and so on. functionality you’d hope for — 4K at 120Hz, variable refresh rate, auto low latency mode, and eARC — are supported, though you’ll give up some features at the bottom of the lineup. 9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate, the last of which could make your phone feel smoother in day-to-day use. Marc Levoy, the former Googler who led the development of the computational photography technology in the Pixel phones, even said , “while wide-angle can be fun, we think telephoto is more important.”

The 16:9 aspect ratio is fine when the screen is in landscape, but becomes awkwardly tall and long in portrait mode. There are two USB-C ports rated at 10Gbps and two USB-A ports rated at 5Gbps and all of them can be used to charge mobile devices. Photography by Dan Seifert / The Verge.
Building upon years of action camera knowledge, GoPro has finally mastered a hardware experience that never frustrated me, while sticking to software that, although takes a bit of getting used to, holds endless resolution and frame rate capabilities. There are endless frame rate and resolution settings to chose. We regret the error.
inch OLED offers a fast 120Hz refresh rate. The Xperia 1 III’s screen stands out among its fellow flagships both in terms of its slimmer 21:9 aspect ratio and its higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, which Sony calls 4K (it’s close). It’s also an OLED panel, and this year’s version offers a 120Hz maximum refresh rate.
Its 16:9 aspect ratio display feels cramped, and its keys are spaced a little too far apart. Both of these models also have displays with a more generous aspect ratio than the Element Lite, which is a boon for productivity work. inch, 1080p touchscreen with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Gen 3 port.
The 14-inch, 1920 x 1080 IPS panel is rated for 300 nits of brightness, but it only got up to 260 in my testing. What did hinder it was the 16:9 aspect ratio, which just feels really cramped for multitasking — especially if you’ve used a 16:10 or 3:2 display before. Photography by Monica Chin / The Verge. It feels well-made.
For those prices, the Tab S7 stacks the specs, including high-end processors, high refresh rate displays, quad-speaker systems, and even optional 5G connectivity. Topping it off is the 120Hz refresh rate, which makes every interaction buttery smooth. The 11-inch Tab S7 swaps out the OLED for LCD but maintains the 120Hz refresh rate.
These gifts can be matched at a 1:1, 2:1, and even 3:1 ratio. Monthly donors are shown to have a retention rate of 90% compared to the average of 46% , so encouraging these contributions can increase your organization’s retention rate as a whole. Increasing your retention rate boosts your fundraising revenue over time.
Then there’s the throw ratio, which is how big the image is in relation to how far it is from the surface. The brightness, which is rated at 2500 lumens, is lower than you’ll see other projectors rated. But LCD makes a low lumen count seem brighter and more vibrant than a DLP projector with the same rating.
inch screen is a little taller than the competition and offers a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Its 20:9 aspect ratio is a hair taller than the S22 Plus and Pixel 6 Pro’s displays, and it matches their top refresh rate of 120Hz. Photography by Allison Johnson / The Verge. The 10 Pro’s 6.7-inch
inch 1080p OLED panel with a fast 120Hz refresh rate that makes routine interactions with the phone — swiping, scrolling, animations — look much more smooth and polished than a standard 60Hz screen or even a 90Hz panel. The display’s 20:9 aspect ratio was carefully considered by Asus. Photography by Allison Johnson / The Verge.
And let’s get this out of the way: it is the best consumer drone for video and photography you can buy right now. It is also a 4:3 sensor, which means your photos are no longer in 3:2 aspect ratio. Both drones shoot 20MP photos, but in a 4:3 aspect ratio, not 3:2 as before. But that doesn’t mean it’s the drone for everyone.
As a huge 4:3 ratio fan, this makes me very sad, especially considering how many pixels are not being used with the 16:9 crop. But more importantly, that lack of video frame rate and resolution options leads me to believe this camera’s video capabilities are for making GIFs or grabbing a quick video reference.
If you have a terrible attention span during movies, it’s also good for scrolling through Twitter or checking IMDb to figure out what TV show that actor was in while watching Netflix, although the second small display is hard to use for any overly complex tasks due to its size and nearly square aspect ratio.
inch screen has a respectable 83 percent screen-to-body ratio. Overall, if the EVO isn’t offering better frame rates than the GS66, or a significantly better price (the GS66 with half the storage but double the RAM, as well as a 300Hz screen, goes for $2,799 ), it’s hard to recommend it as the best option for most gamers.
You do still have to be conscious of dust and debris — the Flip 3 has no official dust protection rating — and there’s still a visible gap in the hinge when it’s closed. inch, 1080 pixel wide OLED display that gets brighter and has a faster refresh rate than the prior models. In order to use it, you’ll have to have existing low-voltage doorbell wiring rated at 8-24 volts AC, 10vA or higher, or run wiring from an AC adapter wall wart (not included) to it, as I did. The Circle View Doorbell has a 5-megapixel camera with a tall aspect ratio that lets you see visitors from head to toe.
Feedly (the poorly rated third-party app I tried crashed on login). The tablet’s relatively small screen and widescreen aspect ratio also make things quite small to work with when you have two apps open. Photography by Dan Seifert / The Verge. Google Meet. NY Times (the app in the Amazon store is just a bookmark to the website).
You can adjust the monitor’s settings using a tiny five-way control nub underneath the power LED, and it’s remarkable how much you can tweak — including the ability to crop the entire panel to 4:3, 16:9, or 21:9 aspect ratios instead of stretching out the image. The ultrawide aspect ratio didn’t work as well for video as I hoped, though.
inch screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a disappointment on a phone of this class. There’s a “Motion Blur Reduction” option that’s supposed to make it feel more like a 90Hz display, but it doesn’t hold up to true high refresh rate options like the Samsung Galaxy S20 or Pixel 4.
Notably, this is a 16:10 aspect ratio screen , and my eyeballs appreciate the luxury of having more stuff to look at without needing to scroll or resize windows to fit within view. Paired with its higher-res display, this hardware can provide respectable frame rates across the board, even in titles that feature demanding ray tracing settings.
It looks so brilliant that I almost didn’t mind it topping out at a 60Hz refresh rate. port, so you can output to 4K at fast refresh rates, if you have a compatible monitor and if you play games that can run well on this laptop. For those keeping track, that’s the same price as MSI’s even more powerful GE76 Raider , which has a faster Core i9 processor and faster RTX 3080 Ti, along with more storage, but an FHD / 360Hz refresh rate display instead of a QHD panel that’s built-in with the model that I tested. Photography by Cameron Faulkner / The Verge.
OLED panels have unbeatable contrast ratios, combining the blackest possible blacks with the whitest possible whites. The eight-core AMD model delivered excellent performance (in addition to its long-lasting battery), tearing through my daily workload and running lighter games at playable frame rates as well.
Otherwise, false alarms could create a lot of stress for loved ones (Cowboy claims a false positive rate of “close to zero”). As for the ride, Cowboy’s own silent 250W rear-hub motor coupled with a new, longer-lasting Gates Carbon Belt drive and lower gear ratio produces a highly intuitive experience. 250W single-speed rear-hub motor.
Performance will be good enough for some people, but unless you play older or less demanding games than the ones I tested below, you won’t take full advantage of the 144Hz refresh rate matte display that MSI put in this model. Perhaps MSI could have managed to fit in a 16:10 aspect ratio display, given how large it is.
