Thanks to its rounded corners and sloped edges, the G Pure is comfortable to hold for long stretches, though it’s a bit tall (the screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio) to use single-handed for my small hands. For a $160 phone, the cameras on the Moto G Pure are better than expected, especially for photos that you’ll likely only share online.

Another highlight is the 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives the QHD screen extra vertical space. percent screen-to-body ratio. But my favorite aspect of this display (and of this Chromebook as a whole) is the 3:2 aspect ratio. The Spin did everything I needed it to, including editing big batches of photos and running multiple demanding apps at a time on top of Zoom calls and Spotify streams, quite fast and without any performance issues.
Starting with what’s new: the 16:10 aspect ratio is here. Apps launched quickly, and I didn’t notice much stuttering or slowdown during my day full of streaming, photo editing, and Slacking on top of around a dozen Chrome tabs. The X1 Yoga’s 16:10 aspect ratio is certainly a bonus, as are the lack of bloatware and the matte display.
And I’m not a fan of its 16:9 aspect ratio — Chromebooks that use 3:2 or 16:10 displays are able to cram noticeably more screen real estate into a smaller chassis. I saw no visible sluggishness or slowdown, even when I was running multiple programs like Adobe Lightroom and Google Photos on top of a heavy load of Chrome tabs and Android apps.
It does have the cramped 16:9 aspect ratio, something I’ve been glad to see other ThinkPads shifting away from this year. There’s an optional camera on the keyboard deck (in addition to the one on the top bezel) which you can use to snap forward-facing photos if you’re using the C13 in tablet or tent mode. Solid for work and play.

As you can see from my photos, I can do a lot with only a single visible cable thanks to those ports. The ultrawide aspect ratio didn’t work as well for video as I hoped, though. And in games with pre-rendered cutscenes, like Final Fantasy XV, you’ll be watching them at their original aspect ratio.
