This year, we fundraised for Grassroot Soccer —an organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize at-risk youth in developing countries—and exceeded our $60,000 goal and raised a total of $72,000. They are an awesome organization that was founded by two professional “futball” players from Zimbabwe.

In its expansion phase, backed by a $3 million pre-seed funding, the startup looks to tap some of the biggest distributors and e-commerce players in Ghana, and later Nigeria, to grow beyond Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Our next year is going to be fairly big for us.
