Spam texts can be incredibly irritating — you get a notification and stop what you’re doing to check your phone, only to find somebody is trying to sell you something you don’t want. Unfortunately, there are no absolutes in preventing text spam. Use the spam filter on your phone. Select “Settings” > “Spam protection”.

But I was suspicious that it was asking me to click on a link (pointing to a server in Germany) rather than open an attachment. A second version said "2 pages" and had a different caller ID and time stamp but pointed to the same site. This one's scary since I'm an eFax user. Here's what they look like.

Lots of spam is coming from fake LinkedIn accounts these days. Not once has LinkedIn made your email address open to any another LinkedIn user without your permission. Yetta Schumacher (clicking on the name leads to an infected site.). --. Click Apply shop coupon code to open the field to enter the coupon code for your order.

I received seven copies of two versions of this spam. This site lists them as malware delivery devices but doesn't elaborate on the threat. Select whether to open the file or save it to your hard drive. Opening the file displays the attachment in a new browser window. - Plain text, no formatting, no logos.

This site says they're malware delivery vehicles. Version 1: Subject: Open position which you might be interested in. I found a vacant position at Security Finance Corporation that you may be interested in based on information from your resume or a recent online application you made on our site. link leads to [link].
