Social media presence is crucial for spreading awareness about fundraising campaigns and engaging with supporters, but it’s important to know where your core audience spends time online.
If you are running an online event, then you know that you can draw in crowds from all over the world. Contests are also a great way to get sponsors or exhibitors involved. If you are running a virtual conference or online summit, attendees may welcome the chance to take a deep breath and think about something else! .
So you launched your new website and have an online marketing plan in hand to help you reach new audiences. What are you really going to implement from the online marketing plan that is packed with a lot of great ideas, but in all honestly, you just don’t have the resources to do them all. Send 2-3 emails each month.
When we started the company, we had over $1 million worth of business doing slides. I sat down with the staff and told them we had to be out of the slide business within the next 18 months. The goal is to get one or more executives to sponsor the initiative. We changed our entire model. View customers as individuals.
As you move in-person events online – or create all-new virtual events – there are a few things you can do to ensure success. Describe the “feel” of the online experience. For example, how can you make the online learning experience interactive? Recruit speakers and sponsors. Collect slide decks and/or pre-record content.
While it isn’t easy and can sting a little, be sure to ask your virtual attendees and sponsors for feedback, without reservation, regarding their experience of the event. Here is what you should be asking attendees after the conclusion of your online event: 1. Ask this as a multiple-choice question or as a sliding numerical scale.
Any major retailer or brand name worth their salt works with affiliates, but so do those “make money online” blogs, casinos and adult entertainment sites which are known for breaking almost every rule out there. Work together with sponsors, partners, and registered attendees through polling or submitted requests for a specific theme or topic. Do not be afraid to aim big! Mix in social .
