” Using a webinar and conference call platform, we were able to bring in participants from San Francisco, Rwanda, Kenya, Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt. I organized and moderated a panel called “ Women Who Tech Globally.”
In May, I had a chance to listen to a webinar by Randi sponsored by NTEN and shared some notes on tips and best practices for setting up a Facebook Fan Page. Randi suggests submitting your feature requests to the developer's forum. They read and respond and you can find out when it might be implemented.
Twestival Local Weekend : Last February, Twestival raised over $250,000 for charity:water on Twitter on February 13th with more 200 cities sponsoring local tweet, meet, and give parties. In the last month, NTEN staff have rested and recuperated (Jessica even traveled to China!), I realized that NTEN focused on people, not just technology, and I felt very welcome.
