I just returned from the Nonprofit Technology Conference (#12NTC) hosted by NTEN in San Francisco, CA. Holly and the rest of the NTEN team (including all the volunteers) did an incredible job inspiring of over 1800 people for three days. The conference was amazing!

Bottom line – nonprofits are having some success in connecting with new constituents and generating action, but the socialnetwork works best when requiring a low level of commitment. Like other studies have noted, socialnetworks like Facebook are not raising much money. hours per week on the socialnetwork.

I've added NTEN's blog feed and the 09NTC Twitter feed to our members-only LinkedIn group. Our NTEN group hasn't used it at all.
