NTEN member Sean Watson brought up his concern about the lack of staffing around, and interest in, "business processes" in most nonprofit organizations. Don't just use spreadsheets, use pictures. of people, even.
In 2008, NTEN began asking the community to tell us what they thought of the tools they use. The Three Dimensions of Social Media ROI | NTEN: The Nonprofit Technology Network - Holly Ross has an excellent post and commentary about measuring ROI: "return on investment is really hard to determine. It's a three-dimensional picture, but we've been trying to render it in two-dimensional tools."
