It’s been a few days since I returned from the Nonprofit Technology Conference (#12NTC) hosted by NTEN in San Francisco, CA. Holly and the rest of the NTEN team (including all the volunteers) did an incredible job inspiring of over 1800 people for three days. Reflections from NTC Plenary Panel on Innovation by Beth Kanter.

The State of Nonprofit Data report was released this week (hat tip to Ted Fickes ). Idealware and NTEN prepared the report based on a survey in April 2012 with nearly 400 nonprofit organizations about how they manage and use data. The reports shares the infographic below to illustrate the “Data Machine.”
Though the full report is not out, we shared the key findings to those who attended in person and online. Blackbaud maintains the Blackbaud Index as well as recently published the Charitable Giving Report and the P2P Benchmark Report to provide nonprofits with the necessary insight to gauge performance, but we’re not alone.
NTEN''s mission is to support all nonprofits in using technology effectively to better reach their missions. The 2013 NTEN Challenge included board members and community members all fundraising on behalf of NTEN, raising funds that would directly provide 2014 NTC scholarships, and access to year-round NTEN programs and membership benefits.

In the last month, NTEN staff have rested and recuperated (Jessica even traveled to China!), and debriefed a whole lot of the NTC. We also read through all of the NTC evaluations! Today, I have a full report back about what went well and what we want to improve, and even what we want to flat out discontinue.

We''re looking for individuals interested in serving in a volunteer position with NTEN on the Research Committee. At NTEN, it is incredibly important to us that the community we serve is an active part of our work. This year's NTC brought 1,430 nonprofit professionals to the OMNI Hotel in Atlanta GA. The Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network (NTEN) will be holding its annual Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) on March 23-25, 2022. Although there were plans to return NTC to an in-person event following the very first virtual NTC in 2021, the decision was made to return again to the virtual realm to ensure public safety.
I have not been blogging because I've been at the NTENNTC Conference , the premier event for nonprofit techies taking place in San Francisco. NTEN had also set up a google application that lets people vote on questions which how they decided to handle the Q/A in a room of 1400 people.
