There’s always great information in the newsletter, but this time around I’m particularly excited because the focus is socialnetworking for non-profits (something that, if you read this blog regularly, you know I’m very passionate about) and the 2011 SocialNetworking Survey.
According to The Foundation Center , only 45% of nonprofits are actively utilizing the power of social media to reach and interact with the public. According to most, using social media to communicate your message is not a choice it is imperative. 71% of foundations who are using social media have NOT developed a formal strategy.
Social media continues to take greater stake in every nonprofit’s marketing, public relations, and advertising strategies.
