For several years, NTEN has led the field in calling for nonprofits to minimize time sent on mundane tasks like server maintenance, instead focusing resources on technology that will actually serve their missions. Where : SanFrancisco, CA (Venue TBD). One of the greatest tools at our disposal to accomplish this is the Cloud.
The last time I saw him was in 2009 in SanFrancisco at the NTC. I just learned that Rob passed away , leaving behind a wife and two daughters. I got hear the legends in the nptech sector in the early days talk about their work and was inspired. Rob Stuart shared my birthday, Jan. Rob was the godfather.

NTEN, the Nonprofit Technology Network, puts on a massive, be-there-or-be-square conference for nonprofit professionals every year (in 2009, we met in SanFrancisco). But, if you don’t want to wait until April to dive into the knowledge and expertise in the NTEN network, you don’t have to!
The day before I set off for the Nonprofit Technology Conference in 2012, my boss back in Australia warned me: "Now, don''t you go falling in love with SanFrancisco and not come back.". 14ntc nptechnten' His warning was prescient. Australia is a small place, and the nonprofit community is tiny.
Rather than list off the top things you can do to raise money and spread your money right now, we decided to instead put our money where our mouth is - quite literally - and make a concerted effort to help the entire nptech community by raising money online for scholarships to none other than the 2009 NTC Conference in SanFrancisco.

I have not been blogging because I've been at the NTEN NTC Conference , the premier event for nonprofit techies taking place in SanFrancisco.
