Note from Beth: Lately, a question on my mind is whether or not the concept of Networked Nonprofits is a global one as I’ve had the opportunity to share some of the ideas beyond the US borders in Kenya and UK. I think Pratham Books , an NGO in India, is a networked nonprofit.
Last week at the IFC-Asia , I co-designed and facilitated a 90 minute workshop with Marco Kuntze titled “ The Digital NGO: The Journey from Paper to Screen.” There are different ways to design a participatory workshop. Kalyani also facilitated a participatory curriculum development process using different techniques. I facilitated a session that introduced networks, networking, and the Networked NGO. My experience so far has been to develop curriculum – mostly focused on technology that is adapted in different countries by local organizations.
