The new website launches today with close to 40 videos from across the nonprofit sector. The site features videos and interviews with Randi Zuckerberg from Facebook, Social media expert Chris Brogan , Twitpic founder Noah Everett , Holly Ross from NTEN, and NetSquared's Amy Sample Ward.
Their To Mama With Love campaign also leveraged the power of our social ties online through “heartspaces” people could create with embeded video and photos, and then share with social media, donate, etc. Donors could communicate with the students, and they thanked participants directly – building lasting relationships.

I don't have many good thoughts on this topic, but at the Making Media Connections conference in Chicago, Michael Hoffman did a workshop on incorporating video into nonprofits messaging.
For example, simply review the hundreds of ideas listed in NetSquared ’s Project Gallery and you’ll quickly see that people from around the world are hard at work leveraging all kinds of technologies to create positive change for communities tackling many different issues.
