The Social Media for Social Good collection from NTEN and NetSquared calls for your case studies in leveraging social media tools in your program work. We're pleased to announce a new member of the NTEN Team: Amy Sample Ward. Since then, she has co-authored a book , spoken at events around the world, and written regularly for the Stanford Social Innovation Review , NetSquared , and her own blog , in addition to her work with TSG. You may have heard of her. We anticipate great things.
Over the last week, technology has played an unprecedented role in bringing aid to and saving lives in Haiti. That’s social media for social good, and that’s exactly what NTEN and NetSquared want to highlight with Beth Kanter this spring at SXSWi. And then there’s the role that Facebook and Twitter are playing.
