There are lots of examples of projects that use crowdsourcing, even this one! Their hesitancy may come from not knowing what crowdsourcing means or how it works: so show them examples, but also show how the project you are working on could benefit from crowdsourcing and how the elements of crowdsourcing align with your project goals.
I am completely overwhelmed by the positive, kind, touching things that so many community members have shared about the work we have all done together during my time with NetSquared and TechSoup Global over the last two and a half years. All those working on other TS community projects ; Susan, Megan, Jessica, Evonne, Kristy and others.
Part of my role as the Global Community Development Manager at NetSquared is to support and grow our offline organizers from around the world. I also work closely with our innovator community, those who have submitted Projects on our platform and participated in open innovation Challenges. Like I said, I cannot wait! What do you think?

A few years ago, Jeff and I went on a pro bono IT consulting project to Uganda to serve a Action for Children, an NGO that fights poverty by preserving families and delivering micro-finance.
