We explored opening a training center. We selected a First Wave that reflects diversity of geography, size, and sector, so we can see who this works best for and why. The First Wave includes 6 museums, 5 performing arts organizations, 3 public libraries, 3 parks, and 3 community centers. Publishing toolkits. Consulting.

Story House Belvédère in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is a magical place. In its short existence (it opened in 2013), the place has made a name for itself as a successful community-driven, innovative cultural initiative. City officials doubted the idea of an exhibition in the public space in a part of town they considered dangerous.

MuseumNext had four main sections: Interactive activities , including an opening workshop with a group of designers associated with an extremely wonderful exhibition called Doing it for the Kids featuring sustainable toy designs. Thank you to everyone who came and helped co-create an exciting experimental event in a beautiful city.

Zuiderzeemuseum is an open-air museum that focuses on a specific region in the north of the Netherlands.

The new building of Naturalis, the Dutch National Natural History Museum, opened in 1998. The museum presents changing temporary exhibitions, but the permament exhibition has remained the same since opening. The minutes of meetings held in 2006, 2007, and early 2008 reflect a hurried and rather superficial process.
