This new phase brings thousands of new volunteer opportunities to Philanthropy Cloud , with more being added in real-time as they are created by nonprofits. The result of these efforts in March 2021 alone was astronomical.

A clarion call to invest in historically Black colleges and universities

HBCUs lead the nation in conferring bachelor’s degrees to Black graduates who ultimately earn doctorate degrees. One friend turned to me and asked where I was headed; I proudly shared, “Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee.” Over 185 years later, HBCUs continue to be the backbone of Black America. We were so excited!
