We previously posted your tips for navigating the NTC itself, but a fun part of the conference is also exploring the Minneapolis area. Enter NTEN''s 501 Tech Clubs. Tech Clubs are driven by local leaders who step up to organize and plan group events with the support of NTEN. ConnectVA partnered with NTEN in 2012 in launch a local club in Central VA. Recent group topics have included social media, nonprofit video, online payment solutions, SEO, and analytics.
For example, my colleague Shai Coggins from Connecting Up (the Australian version of NTEN), who always brings me Tim-Tams. The Life Time Achievement award went to Rob Stuart, the godfather of the NpTech movement , who sadly passed away in October. After a wonderful video tribute, she said, “Thanks NTEN, you have my back!”
