Socialmedia continues to take greater stake in every nonprofit’s marketing, public relations, and advertising strategies. With 10+ major, free, socialnetworking channels to take advantage of, nonprofits have a smorgasbord of opportunities available to connect with constituents, donors, and potential volunteers.
According to The Foundation Center , only 45% of nonprofits are actively utilizing the power of socialmedia to reach and interact with the public. According to most, using socialmedia to communicate your message is not a choice it is imperative. Of the 45% of nonprofits using socialmedia, only 40% use Twitter.
