My slides covered the tools and apps for the back stage side of energizing your community. Having tools in place to help you monitor, measure, and evaluate your work in real time will help you be more successful with your campaign, better engage with the community, and make more lasting change in the long run.
Last year at this time, I was writing the chapter on ROI in the soon to be published book from NTEN called " Managing Your Mission." And, it also includes measurement - not just qualitative information. It uses metrics to measure your results and help you improve your strategy over time. Use of metrics to measure your results.

2021 was an eventful year at NTEN as we continued to promote, work towards, and model equitable practices internally and externally. One hopes that nonprofits deciding to roll their own social networks, aren't creating their own social silos and have gone into it with a solid strategy, clear objectives and measurable metrics , and can evaluate the ROI. I'd love to see more detail, like an overview the strategies or how they measure success. What do you think?
