Your mailing list should be curated from direct supporters of your organization. You want your mailing list to work with your mission. A massive list of random individuals can result in your emails being marked as spam, even if, every once in a while, you gain a new donor. However, this isn’t always the case.

Not a big loss since they were filtered into a mail box that few ever visited, but it is worth noting that fans can now mail admins directly if you have enabled the functionality under Edit Page > Manage Permissions > Show “Message” Button. LinkedIn Group spam is worse than ever. Updates no longer exist.
