By stringing together a series of marketing videos and adding statistics on the availability of clean water, Charity: Water does an excellent job educating viewers on the need they’re addressing in Madagascar.

Sub-Saharan Africa accounts for 75% of the world’s population with no access to renewable energy solutions and electricity.

Of course we saw Central Park and the Zoo therein, to see if the animals from Madagascar were hanging out, and we saw FAO Schwartz and Times Square and the Empire State Building. To read a more thorough history, see the excellent National Parks Service site. We also went out to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty.

The child sex slave in Cambodia or the cyclone victim in Madagascar doesn’t have time for us to wordsmith our mission statements or waste time with lackluster fundraising efforts.
