Enter NTEN''s 501 Tech Clubs. These are informal local groups of those working in the nonprofit sector that meet on a regular basis to network and connect with colleagues, share information, and develop a local professional support network. ConnectVA partnered with NTEN in 2012 in launch a local club in Central VA.

Prior to joining NTEN in 2013, I worked in the human rights field with Social Accountability International (SAI). With our local partners, we were able to connect with the farms we worked with to quickly distribute water bottles with purification tablets to workers. PeaceWorks Technology Solutions is turning #GivingTuesday into a team building event that supports one of their local clients, as well as the local community.
