Winners in each category will be awarded a $10,000 prize by a panel of judges present at the NetSquared Conference (N2Y3). In addition, each winner will be granted a one-year license for the Network for Good API to be donated to an organization of their choice (if the winner is an organization, it can choose to donate the API to itself).

The Ambassadors are senior NetSquared leaders who offer their support to other organizers in their country or region, allowing us to serve members in different time zones and in languages other than English. This morning, NetSquared hosted a special unconference at NTC on open data. It was a fascinating discussion that touched both on many of the reasons why nonprofits are taking a look at data sharing and on why consequential data sharing can sometimes be challenging or unfeasible for nonprofits.

In our session at NetSquared today, we used Social Actions as a case study in engaging online community participation, and shared two strategy tools that can help you make your nonprofit site more engaging. Today, we're releasing those tools to the nonprofit community under a Creative Commons attribution/noncommercial license.
