My group started out by considering Crowdmap (from NetSquared alumnus Ushahidi ), but ended up going with Google Fusion and Google Maps to create the project. I also discovered that I could provide the perspective of the end-user — the volunteer or activist who was actually going to be using the app in the field. "Keep it simple!"
