Scratch: An Educational, Multi-Generational Online Community that Works

Last week, I was reintroduced to Scratch , a graphical programming language designed by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab. Many adults have become engaged with Scratch both as mentors/educators and as creators in their own right. Here is the user profile by age circa July 2008 (per this report ).
