Edward Harran is a blogger and nonprofit technologist I have connected with through NetSquared, this blog, and of course Twitter. He and I have had terrific idea swaps and brainstorms and I can only imagine the conversations he will spark in person at NTEN’s Nonprofit Technology Conference. When is the NTEN Conference?
Before I worked at NTEN, I managed the NetSquared program at TechSoup Global. At that time, most of NetSquared’s content came from the community blog, where anyone working at the intersection of technology and social impact could create a profile and contribute to the blog with stories, case studies, and more.
I am completely overwhelmed by the positive, kind, touching things that so many community members have shared about the work we have all done together during my time with NetSquared and TechSoup Global over the last two and a half years. You need a lot of information and resources from different knowledge bases, to answer questions such as: Are there already groups within a ten-mile radius that have experience in creating community gardens? Let’s say you belong to a neighborhood group that wants to turn a vacant lot into a community garden.
