Located in Kentucky, RSBC shares a home state with the Kentucky Derby. With this knowledge they created a fundraising event that incorporates this major local sporting event, their annual Night at the Races event. Their Night at the Races fundraiser takes place on the Friday following the Kentucky Derby. What they did.

It means that there is a lot of local competition that you need to be aware of at all times when you are picking out your event dates. You don’t want to end up competing with another local event on the same exact evening. Even the dates with smaller events, like the Kentucky Derby, are good to avoid.
