One of the reflections to come out of this week SXSW Conference was for moderators of panels to use Twitter (or back channel tool) to poll the audience upfront and monitor it real time. And then another program is Reclaim the Future, which is one our newest projects, that is addressing green-color jobs and building opportunities for low-income people, formerly convicted people, and communities of color in this new green economy. I was a ski bum for a winter, and landed one week in Austin, Texas and got a job waiting tables.
One of the reasons I am so excited about the work I am doing with NetSquared is because I think that these new web-based tools, especially podcasts, are an incredible way for nonprofits to get the word out about their causes, especially when they are listened to through headphones.
