Around the time of the Nonprofit Technology Network ’s 2008 NTC conference, an even brighter light bulb went on. Three months later I had a prototype platform aggregating actions from RSS feeds, with a search element around that content.

I usually come away from the NTC with one theme that is connected to multiple sessions. Yes, that was an actual question during my NTEN interview process. Our members embrace one another, sometimes literally (I have heard stories of weddings that began with registering for the NTC!) and get started on the NTC and other events in the pipeline. I must say, I love the love. We are in a mutual admiration society.

I found out in talking to Jason is that he didn’t know that he was getting the 2014 NTEN Award until they called his name at NTC.
