I actually started out with International Studies, and more academic. They came from Sudan, from Saudi Arabia, from all over, some of the most unheard places of the world. A woman journalist from Sudan had her story about the flogging of a woman who was wearing pants get picked up, and it made international headlines.

We have over 70 volunteers who work for us though, and on that internal email list, we would email about the challenge about 20-30 times a day. If there are two groups giving money to the Sudan, for example, it would be great to know which one gets 90% of their funds there versus one that only gets 40%. How frequently did we email?

Women for Women International supports women survivors of war in conflict and post-conflict areas (Afghanistan, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Sudan).
