Scratch: An Educational, Multi-Generational Online Community that Works

Last week, I was reintroduced to Scratch , a graphical programming language designed by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab. Everyone is instructed not to create usernames identical to their real names. More generally, ScratchR relies on the community to largely self-police via the Flag as Inappropriate tag.
