So the Community Science Workshop model is to put a drop-in, FREE community science center in a place that is walkable to kids'' lives and schools. Where do Community Science Workshops fit in the informal science landscape? But in the more traditional lexicon, these might be defined as "informal spaces." It''s kind of tricky.

This qualitative, exploratory study involved tracking and interviewing 32 Spanish-speaking intergenerational groups in fully bilingual exhibits at four different science centers/museums.

There's no sharing of that information. Wendy: Part of the thinking was that NSF supported the book Are We There Yet? , NSF requires grant applicants to build on prior knowledge--where do you get it? And with NSF's support, some of the very first things we did were around people developing traveling exhibits. Why is that?
