There were interesting conversations at every turn and I also had requests to share my notes and slides. I haven't done enough testing to compare the web browser response over Verizon's 3G network vs. wi-fi. It's easiest to open if you slide the keyboard out. Setting up a Gmail account was incredibly simple - I just had to enter my login info and the Pre knew how to configure the account. It's essentially a soft reboot.

Facebook is the second big social networking site behind MySpace. Widgets are little applications that live on some other page on the web, where the info in the widget comes from some server somewhere else. Embedding a YouTube video is a widget, as are fundraising widgets , Flickr photostream, Photobucket, Slide and many others.
What really, really turns me on in terms of journalism is what I would call networked journalism, which is where you can get a bunch of different people to break up a story into smaller, different bits. We've done audio, we've done video, we've done text, and we've done some photo slide shows. I would love to do an info.
