Governor Schwarzenegger signed the California State Divestment Bill into law, and from there Adam took the campaign nationally. I first worked as an outreach coordinator for the Great Lakes region, which is six states: Illinois, Ohio, and a bunch of others around there. His campaign was successful. It is cool to see that happening.

Yesterday we talked about the audio-only social network Clubhouse , which found itself at the center of controversy after failing to take action or even make a public comment after users began to experience harassment within the app. Others, such as President Trump’s Muslim ban, took a few tries — but eventually became law.

From time to time a really bad post on a social network gets a lot of attention. Say a head of state falsely accuses a journalist of murder , or suggests that mail-in voting is illegal — those would be pretty bad posts, I think, and most people working inside and outside of the social network could probably agree on that.

Social platforms, for better and for worse, offer only the president’s words. I can’t see a good reason, in most cases, for a big social network to deny the president his right to speak.
