There were interesting conversations at every turn and I also had requests to share my notes and slides. Below, you can find my full speech and slides, as well as links to address questions and requests from many of those I met with. I also encountered quite a few people asking very similar questions, or looking for the same resources.
Hosting virtual fundraising events is new to many nonprofits and can, therefore, make those in charge feel a bit intimidated, especially if they don’t define themselves as particularly “tech-savvy.” With today’s technology it’s pretty easy and straightforward to host an impressive virtual event or campaign. If that’s you, do not fear.

Nonprofits that host many events or are related to the arts, animals, nature, or international development should definitely be using Flickr. Many people today are overwhelmed by text, and photos and slide shows can often do better at communicating your message than text-heavy articles or blog posts.
