July 6, 2023 OpenAI announced the general availability of GPT-4 Starting July 6, all existing OpenAI developers “with a history of successful payments” can access GPT-4. OpenAI plans to open up access to new developers by the end of July. In the future, OpenAI says that it’ll allow developers to fine-tune GPT-4 and GPT-3.5
