What's the most important trend in nonprofit technology for 2010? I think the most important trend now is collaboration -- across platforms, across organizations, across sectors. Green is my favorite color, I grew up in the country (like frogs), and I think I'm pretty good at being a wrangler of characters. :).

The big nonprofit tech trends this past year seemed to be in the areas of the emergence of mobile devices, social media stratification, the launch of Office 365 for Nonprofits, some huge digital inclusion initiatives, and lots of other things. It includes presence information (your avatar glows green if you're online) and chat while doing things like watching YouTube or Netflix videos.
Some were there, including #nptech leaders like Beth Kanter and Lucy Bernholz, but aside from a small handful who’ve written on this topic in the past few months (see the Read More section below), there hasn’t been a very prominent nonprofit voice in the sharing economy, and that needs to change.
