Google Hangout is a super easy way to hold video conferences with multiple individuals or groups of people. In addition to being easy, it is accessible to all of your employees, constituents and volunteers as anyone with a Google account can take part in a Hangout without having to download any additional software or sign up for anything new.

After Jason Shim won the 2014 NTEN Award in March, I thought I’d have a look to see why Amy Sample Ward and company thought so highly of him. I have not been blogging because I've been at the NTEN NTC Conference , the premier event for nonprofit techies taking place in San Francisco. The NpTech Community has been early adopters of social media and social networks like Twitter. I've been coming to this conference for ten years now and it's a like a family reunion.
