The third edition of the GlobalTrends in Giving Report (the sister report to the 2019 Global NGO Technology Report ) will be published September 15, 2020 , and for the first time, we are conducting an open call for partners worldwide. 6,057 donors completed the 2018 GlobalTrends in Giving Survey and based on their responses, the donor community worldwide is made up of primarily women (65%) who have a liberal ideology (53%) , characterize themselves as religious (72%), and give between ($101-$1,000 USD) annually (43%). 20% say Instagram, and 13% say Twitter.

Inspiring people to take online surveys is tough! We are grateful to the 3,573 people who have taken the 2018 GlobalTrends In Giving Survey thus far. The survey is available in five languages – ???????????? , English , español , français , and português – to reach a global audience. are female.
Instead, so far in 2010, giving to the United Way Worldwide (the largest charity in the survey) decreased by 4.5% and giving to Salvation Army (the second largest charity in the survey) dropped by 8.4%.
