Although McDonald had never been to Haiti, she had recurring dreams about the country. Let’s backtrack to when it all started.

In Haiti, a typical adult has just five years of schooling, and the literacy rate is just 53 percent. Because of your gift and gifts from other generous donors like you, seven new students got to enroll in school! These seven children are receiving a quality education, three meals a day, mentoring, and medical care.

Problems were that many survivors had no internet access, let alone electrical power, let alone computers or even computer literacy. Examples from Haiti. I will explain the use of mapping, fundraising, and crowdsourcing.
