The best facilitators are professional, intentional, and practical, but that doesn’t mean they are dull. They don’t follow a script. In-the-trenches experience. Credibility.

Annaliese pointed out to us that podcasting is usually not perceived as digital storytelling , and we agreed that this is an idea worth discussing. But a podcast can be a vehicle for storytelling, if you make the effort to infuse it with a narrative. He did this by: Scripting a short introduction that kicks off each episode.

As with many things, practice leads to comfort. For a longer video, consider writing a script. Scripting: Even if you don’t plan to read from a script, you still should write a script. If your audience skews young and your video has a fun vibe, TikTok could be worthwhile. Go where your audience is.
