I don’t usually work with any music — it often distracts me — but recently, when I’ve needed a little music on in the background, I’ve become obsessed with lo-fi remixes of video game music on YouTube. He worked at Harmonix, the studio that made music-based games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. ToneStone uses a system of loops and decks.

The video’s fun, too, featuring a wide array of Apple hardware from throughout the years, including old iBooks and the sadly defunct iPod Hi-Fi.
