Rather than rehash what it does, here's their overview movie which explains it: You can export your lesson/manuals to HTML, Word or PDF and customize the template. After playing with all the options, I ultimately decided to export the files to HTML, upload online via FTP and serve in a Salesforce custom web tab aptly named "How Do I?"

I removed PDFMaker from the Word startup file according to these instructions and no longer get error messages. I can still use Acrobat Distiller as a printer to create PDF output, and use Acrobat Pro to edit the output. I’ve tried lots of free PDF creation software and haven’t found one that resolves these problems.
