Use it not only to advertise your services, but also to share files with clients, point to resources, clarify your working style/methods/contract, etc. get your files organized: both electronically and paper. Get files to hold all your new categories of information (esp. 2) Get a wiki. do it ASAP. do it ASAP. network.

It’s not the deepest desk, so I do have to think a little bit about what I put on there, but it fits my laptop, a notebook, and a bottle of seltzer or a mug of tea, which is good enough for me. The wood and fabric filing cabinet that my printer is mounted on also came from there.) Usually I just plug them into my laptop instead.

Shut down all non-server computers : Don't leave desktop and laptop computers in sleep mode. Obviously, you can't shut down the server running your website or email, but do you need the file server or the print server running? The headphones are the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ohms , which aren’t super fun for music (hence the fifth-gen iPod with KZ ES4 earbuds ) but are great for accurately reproducing vocals. Here’s my current setup: I connect my laptop with Thunderbolt to the ThunderBay 4. The final Big Thing on my desk is an OWC ThunderBay 4.
