RSS Widgets: I installed grazr which easily puts my bloglines feeds that I'm reading on my sidebar in a nifty little directory. FeedBurner has recently partnered to offers customizable widgets for your feed. I'm not a techy, so I use typepad. It helps automate your blogroll. I'm gonna go play with that in a minute.

For an organization doesn't have skill in HTML and other technical stuff, TypePad and WordPress.com (the hosted version) are likely a good fit. TypePad is in fact the only good choice if you want to really tailor the colors and add your logo but don't have HTML experience.

I've switched over the typepad auto posting to Facebook which worked great, but now seems to have crapped out. Blog Friends - takes your RSS feed and your friends on Facebook feeds and republishes to your profile. Share on Facebook bookmarklet I use this to share web pages while I'm browsing.

They built an iGoogle dashboard and fed RSS feeds based on information they were seeking in online social networks. Then, grab the search RSS feed and add it to your iGoogle. We used this technique for DIGG, forums, Twitter, Bing, and Google and then set up various searches along with monitoring of certain Twitter feeds.

I have some static resources there, several dynamic resources (like syndicated feeds of certain categories of my Furl archive and the main column of posts or articles. I set them up with a nice looking site, ancillary services like a traffic monitor, email-subscribe service, RSS feeds and explanation, syndicated headlines from elsewhere, etc.

If I had known I would like blogging so much, I would have set up a Typepad account, because it has more features, but Blogger is just fine and it's a bargain! In Site Feed: click "Yes" in answer to "Publish Site Feed" so that other people can publish your posts elsewhere. Set up a blog hosting account.
