When I visited his site, I noticed that he had some widgets, including a message comment line. For every online social network training we do, we actually present the ning site and demonstrate ways participants can create and customize profiles, syndicate RSS feeds, post blogs, photos and videos and more. Developers who are more experienced can create customized scripts and widgets on their site to accommodate the needs of their users.
Provide bloggers, and your supporters, with an RSS feed of news related to your organization so that they can spread the word for you. Don't be afraid of RSS feeds. Whatever you do, please don't abandon your out-of-date, un-updated blog, Facebook group, Twitter feed, etc. We have to spend time on the (blog, podcast, Facebook page, Twitter, wiki, fundraising widget etc.). I originally wrote this post for the NetSquared Blog. Provide rss feeds to the whole blog, and to individual bloggers' feeds so readers have a choice of how they want to subscribe. One of the most popular tools for raising money on blogs are fundraising widgets like ChipIn , Network for Good and Global Giving.
